Summer Collegiate Rosters - Northwoods League

Continuing the coverage of the summer collegiate leagues and our Arizona connections .. next up is the Northwoods League which is broken into two divisions (North & South) and has teams covering five states and Canada (Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin) with a planned expansion into North Dakota for next summer.

In the first half, the Eau Claire Express won the North Division boasting two Arizona players, Chase Beal (Queen Creek - 2014), currently with Yavapai College and Erick Migueles (Catalina Foothills - 2015) with the University of New Mexico. The South Division first half champions were the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters who have LHP Jake Repavich (Cienega - 2014) who plays at Grand Canyon University. Other teams and Arizona prep players include, the LaCrosse Loggers with Justin Wylie (Hamilton - 2014), now at San Diego State University and the Mankata Moondogs who have Cody O'Brien (Red Mountain - 2013) from at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee and Brick Paskiewicz (Sunrise Mountain - 2013) at Grand Canyon University. For the Willmar Stingers, Devin Foyle (Fountain Hills - 2015) is from the University of Kansas while the Kalamoazoo Growlers have Garvin Alston (Mountain Pointe - 2015) from Arizona State University and Keenan Bartlett (Desert Vista - 2014) from the University of Richmond is pitching for the Lake Shore Chinooks. Finally for the Madison Mallards, Ty Pennington (Sabino - 2013) is a pitcher at the Nevada-Reno.
